    I used to not be a huge fan and still am not. Their food is bland and not exciting. I don't know why people get so excited about it. It really isn't anything special. There are other places I'd rather go for great Mexican.

    Since most Mexican food places serve you chips and salsa, a bad salsa can ruin your meal even before you get started. This was not the case with Cebolla's salsa. It has good flavor and just enough heat that even the timid will continue to eat it. There is hot sauce on the table if you want to bump the heat up a bit. The decor is colorful and cheerful and makes you think it would be a good place for a party or large group. Fiesta! The prices are fair for this region and they have an extensive lunch menu. You can order lunch and a drink under $10... but not if you get a Margarita, which will set you back $10 all by itself. I ordered the dinner Mixteca Salad to share with my mother. The salad is $12 but definitely a good value. It was HUGE!! The ingredients were fresh including plenty of mixed lettuce (not all iceberg), freshly snipped cilantro, avocado, corn, black beans, red bell pepper, and with just the right amount of a buttermilk base Chipotle Dressing. We had it with the grilled shrimp, but you have an option of adding chicken or beef. The service was speedy even though the place was packed. I am looking forward to going again for dinner and trying a Chimi and a dessert.

    This is one of those places that is fine. I got excited when I walked in because the décor is very kitschy and charming. It's styled after a little Mexican town with lots of bright colors and a ton of decoration. That's about as exciting as it got though. The food was okay. It's nothing really to write home about. It's pretty average on my scale. It came out hot, the ingredients were all right but it was just sort of like..."Oh...cool...Mexican food." It tasted good and that's as stoked as I'll get about it. Our waiter was very polite and he brought the food out quickly, always making sure our drinks were full. I don't really have anything negative to say about this place...but that's about all the good I have too.

    Unremarkable. 2.5 stars, but half a star isn't an option. I had the veggie combo C for lunch which was an enchilada, burrito and tostada. It was all very bland. Not just mildly spiced, straight bland with little flavor despite being doused in red sauce. The refried bean were mushy even for refried beans. The chips and salsa: bland. I asked for habenero sauce and the waiter did bring me a housemade salsa that was to my masochistic liking. I do suspect they made it as hot as they could, not expecting I would eat it. The waiter expressed much surprise that I enjoyed the spicy salsa. I liked my waiter he was personable and attentive. He offered viable solutions to my request for an outrageously spicy sauce by offering to make an outrageously spicy sauce. The portions were big especially for the lunch prices. I was stuffed for the rest of the day. It was not bad, not good. Basic. TL;DR Food bland, even when not expecting or ordering spicy meal. Service Good! Prices cheap! Portion big!

    The outside of the restaurant doesn't do the inside any justice. Once inside you see a beautiful restaurant with great decor. There is even a fountain in the middle of the dining area. The service is great. Our party was 15 and they were on the ball. We constantly had fresh chips and salsa which were very delicious. The salsa was mild. The drinks never needed to be refilled. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our meals came out quickly especially for the amount of people in our party. The portions were perfect and most people wouldn't have leftovers. The burrito was very good and had a lot of flavor. The beans and rice was great as well. It was a great experience overall and I will be coming back once I make it back to Indiana in the future.

    In Ft. Wayne for a team tennis tournament. This place is a go to restaurant for good food and drinks, including huge margaritas! The service is great too! Awesome chips and authentic salsa (fresh tomatoes and perfect little kick). I ordered the Tilapia a la Palapa. It was delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this place, and return for a visit the next time I'm in town.

    Best Mexican food in Fort Wayne! They have a large menu. The Sunday buffet is okay - not as many flavorful food selections . The prices are good. The service is efficient and very Mexican. The atmosphere is very colorful and fun.

    We try and go whenever we're in town, including the last couple visits when we went for brunch. They serve a brunch buffet that includes a mix of Mexican and American cuisine, but there is truly something for everyone! Breakfast items like an omelette station, french toast sticks. The bacon isn't real, so I would skip it - rubbery and freeze dried maybe? Fixings of all sorts for fajitas, salad bar (table) and dessert items like cake, cheesecake (the real kind, nice and dense), and sopapillas with real caramel! I went back for 2nd's just for the caramel sauce. They also serve their milk beverage found by request only, any other day of the week. Of course, if the menu suits you, everyone is served one once they are sat. Always will return! Service is hit or miss, but as long as chips and salsa is on the table, we're set. Drinks can be iffy depending on how busy the server is

    Yummy, yummy, yummy! Dependable quality and good service always. We love this place and will continue to return. Warm chips and delicious homemade salsa arrive at your table within minutes of your arrival. The carne Asada is delicious. Nicely marinated. We've tried quite a few items from the menu and recommend them all. My husband prefers salads and the mixteca salad is a good one. Portions are plentiful though. Be sure to be hungry when you visit.

    When I moved to the area and started asking around for the best places to eat, Cebolla's was on the list. We frequent this location quite often, enough to know that the evening hostess on the weekends is also the hostess at Spyro's (he's a busy guy that guy). Recently we went in for the usual chimichanga's and margaritas but I forgot my ID card. Our waiter was really nice, they always are and I asked if I could have a margarita and apologized for not coming prepared with my ID. He let me down in the nicest way possible, I may have even given him the puppy dog face, but he stood firm and I can respect that.

    Some of my favorite mexican food that I've ever had. They serve ice cold beer, plenty of chips and salsa and you really can't go wrong on the menu. Service is quick and you get a ton of food. My favorite is the Chimichanga De La Casa. I haven't had a dessert here but everything else is wonderful. I just updated this one. They caught numeroous health code violations and that is not cool with me. No more Cebollas.

    We are in Fort Wayne for a wedding and just ate at Cebolla's! The service and food were amazing! The salsa was great and the food was flavorful! Service was fast and the staff was great as well! I'm not sure if we will ever come back to Fort Wayne but if we do we will definitely come back to Cebolla's!!

    My family frequents for the pitchers of margaritas, so we had to stop by on our visit to FW. Food was good, pitchers of margarita were good. Not sure about their fried ice cream though.

    My favorite place for mexican food! Both locations are great, but something about the atmostphere at this one, I love. They have a tremendous sunday brunch! At the buffet brunch, they will make omelets on the spot, with whatever you want on them. Excellent!

    Why did they change their salsa recipe? Boooooo Cebolla's! Do you know how many people across this country I have blessed with your incredible salsa? How many people in the Ft. Wayne area have been sent to your colorful establishments? Clearly enough that you have opened 2 other stores since I left Ft. Wayne. I have returned again and again over the past 8 years to enjoy your incredible margaritas (Texas Lulus!!!!!) and salsa, and even imported it by the gallon to L.A. (Angelenos who, despite their snooty, snobby, know-it-all-about-Mexican-food attitudes, have become quick converts to the best salsa ever and have affectionately referred to it as crack) and most recently to D.C. However, the past 2 trips to Ft. Wayne have left me wanting. The salsa is not the same and I have been feeling ripped off since I got home to find the gallon I purchased to be nothing more than stewed tomatoes and cilantro. Shame, shame shame! Still I returned to your Jefferson store to see if it was a one-off, but dios mio! Still the same bland gringo-ized garbage I received for my last gallon purchase. I am very unhappy about this change. I will get over it and Cebolla's I guess, but does anyone know what gives with this change? I know I sound like a spoiled brat, and perhaps that is true, but I want my crack back!!!!!

    ok seriously, there are a few pretty good restaurants in fort wayne...and cebollas is definitely one of them. i feel like ive had my share of mexican food in my day and cebollas truly is a standout among the pack. i live in chicago now and found myself craving their enchiladas and chimichangas...it really is that good. very solid authentic mexican fare at fair (ha) prices. AND they have like 4 sizes for margaritas (mmm)...the largest one probably takes a small army to finish! and the 'regular' size isnt so tiny, either! cebollas you rock.

    When we were in Cancun eating the awful, pretend foodstuff that passed for Mexican, we were pining for Cebolla. This is not great Mexican--- just perfectly serviceable, cheap, edible Mexican with good, fresh chips and salsa, adequate margaritas, and a cheerful staff. The Sunday brunch is inexpensive and crowded. The fried ice cream is about the least greasy stuff on the menu. The one great dish I had was the tilapia tacos--- really good, fresh fish with a light crisp on the surface and juicy, tender fish inside, dressed with a cilantro- citrus mayonnaise. Nicely done, Cebolla's.
